Consumer Reports Online
The Consumer Reports Online database contains the complete text of all articles and product recalls in the 12 regular monthly issues of Consumer Reports magazine, the 12 monthly issues of two newsletters, Consumer Reports Travel Letter and Consumer Reports on Health. Published by the nonprofit Consumers Union, Consumer Reports is the preeminent product-test and consumer advisory publication, reaching more than five million subscribers. Consumers Union does not permit users of its material to use its name or work, including this database, in advertising or as an endorsement of any product or service or for any other commercial purpose.
Consumer Reports publishes results of tests on products ranging from major purchases such as automobiles and appliances to everyday items, such as foods and cleaning supplies. Test reports include brand-name ratings and Consumers Union's recommendations. Goods and services covered include: appliances, automobiles, electronics, foods, health, home, personal, travel and more.
Consumer Reports Online is only available via the adult computers. Please ask at the Circulation Desk to have a staff member login.

Vermont Small Business Assistance
Community Business Connections is a joint project of the Secretary of State's Office, the Small Business Administration (SBA), and the Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC). The goal of Community Business Connections is to engage local officials, individual entrepreneurs, local chambers of commerce, libraries, and civic and service organizations such as Rotary and Kiwanis to reach out to Vermonters to let them know what resources are available to help them start and expand business in their communities.
