Mango Language

mango The Friends of the Dorothy Alling Library are pleased to sponsor an online language-learning product named Mango. This free service is available to all DAML cardholders. Pick from fifty-seven languages as well as seventeen ESL (English as a second language) courses.

Pick a basic course to quickly learn basic words and phrases or a complete course to move beyond the basics!  You will need Internet Explorer version 6 or higher or Firefox, Safari or Opera, Adobe Flash Player 9 or higher and speakers on your computer. There is also an app available for iPad's and iPhone's. For learning Chinese or Japanese, you may need to install the international fonts before starting the course. See the support page on the Mango site for help in addressing any of these concerns.
